Abstract

PROF. N.S MUTHIAH ENDOWMENT COMPETITION Sree Balaji Dental College, Bharath University, Chennai At Sree Balaji Dental College,Chennai they have an Endowment bestowed by Prof. Dr. N.S. Muthiah M.D, the renowned teacher-pharmacologist to felicitate outstanding students in the subject of Oral Pathology and Microbiology. So every year, the coordinators conduct one written examination in that subject usually at the last quarter of the year. Third and fourth year BDS students from all colleges get invited throughout the state to come and participate in this competition . The first ranking student receives a cash award of Rs.6,000/-, the second ranking student Rs.4,000/- and the third ranking student Rs.2,000/-. Certificates of participation are given to all the participants. More than hundred students from various Dental Colleges across Tamilnadu participated in this competition this year and made the event as a grand success. The conference was a mind blowing experience for the researchers, scientists, teachers and practioners in Dentistry. The stellar guest speakers were of immense international and national recognition and are pioneers in their respective field.
