In mists of gilt and blister pearls -
Another text for Hilliard,
As semiotic nets unfurl,
Ensnaring now your narwhal's tusk,
And now Mestrelle before the dusk.

As Gloriana too evolved,
With Dudley's strategy deferred,
The Pure Verities' puzzle solved,
And 'barred' John Dee's Angelic word,
Sealing offpast incarnations,
Spurring Form regenerations.
