Mega rail project worth Rs55.4b coming
Islamabad is planning to rehabilitate the 638 km railway track linking Quetta with Koh-i-Taftan (cost Rs 55.422 b) as part of a trilateral cooperation agreement between Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan. The aim is to strengthen ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization) and raise a Free Trade Area in the region by 2015.
