RapiDeploy and LabExpert are two similar, yet also very different, programs from Altiris, a company spun off from KeyLabs in July 1998-a large, independent network test lab in Provo, Utah. Like the other cloning software described in this review, RapiDeploy is used (along with ImageBlaster, a utility shared between RapiDeploy and LabExpert) to create images of computer hard drives that can be cloned to other computers or used as a backup mechanism.
