As a partial apology for the lateness of this review, let it be noted that, though dated 1986, the review copy of this fifth installment of the Pondicherry based French translation of Patanjali's Mahabhasya with its commentary the Pradipa and supercommentary the Uddyota reached this reviewer in 1993.
