SABR's Guide to Doing Baseball Research is an updated electronic version of a print book first published in 1987 as the Baseball Research Handbook and updated as How to Do Baseball Research in 2000. The site shares baseball research ideas, methods, strategies and advice of Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) members and contributors.
The content and structure mirror, with extensive updates, the year 2000 print version and includes links to chapters broken up into three categories: research techniques, resources ("lists of baseball oriented resources" such as baseball print periodicals, reference books, databases and websites, sources for images and online newspapers) and topics ("in-depth articles on how to research in particular fields"). A menu bar spans the top of the page with various tabs that link to information about SABR, News, Research Resources...
