Qualitative research is generally understood as a multidisciplinary field of inquiry used by researchers to gain understanding about various aspects of human behaviour. This type of inquiry uses non-numerical data such as responses to survey questions and analysis of focus group feedback to draw subjective conclusions from relatively small samples.
