A 62-year-old woman developed several episodes of scopolamine withdrawal syndrome after using a standard transdermal scopolamine patch to prevent motion sickness.
The woman had previously used transdermal scopolamine patches for less than 2 days without adverse effects for years, apart from a mild mouth and eye dryness and local dermal irritation.
