This volume in the Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Series on Diplomatic and Military History consists of nine scholarly papers delivered during a 1994 conference commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the 1944 Quebec Summit Meeting between Winston S. Churchill, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and their advisers. Unlike the 1944 conference itself, however, the volume focuses on the virtually forgotten host country-Canada. Fully two-thirds of the papers deal with that nation's participation.
