Seven Days in January is an engaging first person account of the history of the 6th SS-Mountain Division, "Nord." The book was written by Wolf Zoepf, who served as a battalion adjutant in one of the division's mountain infantry regiments. Having served with the division throughout the war (until his capture in 1945), the author provides the reader with a well written and researched account of a division that has gotten far less publicity than some of its more well-known counterparts in the Waffen-SS.
