Abstract

Abstract: The objective of the article is to analyze educational quality in the context of Ecuadorian public education from a systemic approach. The methodology is qualitative, systematic that uses content analysis, which is a research technique that identifies and describes in an objective and systematic way the properties of a text in order to obtain conclusions. The results reveal the context and internal functioning of quality as a complex system, distinguishing the human, physical and curricular elements from a global, holistic and integrative treatment. Lo cual, se evidencia en el art. 344, art. 347 numeral 1 y art. 348, que en síntesis convergen en la gratuidad de la educación pública, responsabilizando al Estado ecuatoriano por su fortalecimiento en pro de mejorar la calidad educativa, asignado al Sistema nacional de Evaluación las competencias para evaluar la gestión del Ministerio y sus respectivas dependencias, así también, el desempeño directivo, docente, estudiantil, y el currículo nacional (Constitución de la República de Ecuador, 2008).
