Homosexuality tends to run in families, usually among siblings of the same sex, according to Dr. Carnes Weinrich, a psychobiologist at Boston University School of Medicine.
In a recent study he undertook at the medical school, Dr. Weinrich ibund that approximately 20% of male homosexuals had one or more gay brothers, compared to 4% among heterosexuals.
Of the female homosexuals interviewed, 25% had sisters who were homosexual, compared to 10% among heterosexuals, according to Dr. Weinrich.
