The U.S. Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island invites applications for an anticipated faculty appointment, open with respect to rank (Assistant/Associate/Full), in the Joint Military Operations Department.
The Naval War College is a Professional Military Education (PME) institution serving the nation, the Department of Defense and the U.S. Navy. The resident student body consists of members of the U.S. Navy, Air Force, Army, Marines, Coast Guard, civilians from various governmental agencies as well as international officers. Graduates earn a Master of Arts Degree in National Security & Strategic Studies, accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The College’s mission is four-fold: to develop strategic and operational leaders (our education mission); to help the Chief of Naval Operations define the future Navy; to support combat readiness; and to strengthen maritime security cooperation through international engagement.
