New partner joins Quarles & Brady
Quarles & Brady announced in December that Linda Emery joined the firm as a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firms Milwaukee office.
Emery, who earned her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 196, focuses her practice in the areas such as data privacy and security, information technology and trademarks.Before working in private practice, Emery was in-house counsel for two large corporations.

DeWitt adds associate to Madison office
DeWitt Ross & Stevens recently announced that Nicole Williams Buttery joined its Madison office as an associate attorney in the firms family law group.
Buttery, who earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2014, handles guardianships andrepresents clients in divorces and third-party visitation cases.

Quarles & Brady recently announced that Isaac Roang received the Next Generation United Performing Arts Fund Leadership Award.
The award is sponsored by the We Energies Foundation and recognizes a community leader in the Next Generation United Performing Arts Fund who encourages and promotes the performing arts in southeastern Wisconsin.
