Fifty architects and artists showcased their creativity by preparing sketches, designs, renderings, and multimedia presentations depicting how the World Trade Center (WTC) site might be rebuilt. The exhibition, A New World Trade Center: Design Proposals, was on view in NewYork City from January 17 through February 16 at the Max Protetch Gallery.
From arch-shaped buildings to multicolored towers, the designs suggested new and unusual forms for skyscrapers and other types of buildings, says Stuart Krimko, the gallery's assistant director.
