After all, I was used to driving my 92-hp, five-speed Toyota, and the 1997 Buick Regal GS loomed ominously in the parking lot, waiting for me. I shook off my apprehension and admired the sedan's black and storm-gray exterior and stylish 16-in. aluminum wheels.
