With the introduction of third- era (3G) technologies, the Indian telecommunication marketplace with 752 million mobile cellphone subscribers is the fastest developing wireless marketplace in the world right after China, but devoid of any correct cellular costs mechanism in major Indian cities. As per the telecom regulatory authority of India (TRAI), India is projected to have 1.159 billion cellular subscribers by 2013. Moreover, the total number of subscribers in India will exceed the complete subscriber count of China by 2013. This means that one out of every two Indians will have a phone connection.
3G is the most up-to-date wireless technological innovation that offers wireless accessibility to data and information to the mobile phone consumers from everywhere and anytime. It is also known as UMTS (universal mobile telecommunication method). In truth, 3G-enabled cellular handsets were first introduced in Japan in October, 2001. 3G technologies have made life a whole lot easier, comfortable, and exciting.
