Kort Builders
Robert Kort has operated a business ever since he was a teen-ager.
Instead of lawn mowing, he and up to 15 employees did landscaping and house painting.
And it was that operation that eventually grew into the successful construction business he operates today: Kort Builders Inc.
Kort also likes to be on the move, always doing something new. After three years attending Indiana University, the North Central High School graduate took off for the University of Arizona and its warm climate in 1990. While there, he developed a cellular phone business, then sold that business and came back to Indiana.
