New York-SOFTWARE DEVELOPER Able$oft Inc. wants to take VARs to school.
The Pennsauken, N.J.-based company is launching a training and marketing program this week for VARs interested in selling its education software. AbleSoft's products, targeted at teachers in K-12 school systems, include Library of the Future, Puzzle Creator 2000 and its flagship Teacher's Toolbox.
Through the VAR program, dubbed Education Reseller Alliance Program, AbleSoft expects to extend its reach beyond the retail market, where the company has sold its products until now, said Keith Mintzer, AbleSoft's vice president of strategic business development.
"We want to basically put all our licensing business through VARs and integrators in targeting the K-12 space," he said.
