Aetna Health Plans will consolidate its Northeast Ohio operations in a $10 million office building to be constructed at the new Kinross Lakes office park in Richfield Village.
Timothy Brown, Aetna's market vice president, said the company will assign 220 employees to the building as it consolidates operations from three locations in Northeast Ohio to improve communications and expanded office space for the employees.
The four-story building in northern Summit County will encompass 80,000 square feet and will be built and owned by Carey Leggett Realty Advisors of Columbus. Carey Leggett has agreed to buy 7.4 acres from Glencairn Corp., the developer of Kinross Lakes. Glencairn is owned by former Nestle Corp. chief executive James Biggar.
