Taking a page from their latest book, "Swell Holiday," co-authors Cynthia Rowley, fashion designer, and Ilene Rosenzweig, former style editor for The New York Times, brought holiday cheer to around 100 people at the home of close friend Sharon Umphenour in December.
The private party included friends and business associates of Umphenour and co-host Carey Carter, owner of Carter Barnes Hair Artisans.
The authors have been on a creative roll since the original launch of "Swell: A Girl's Guide to the Good Life" five years ago, followed by "Good Life and Home Swell Home: Designing Your Dream Pad in 2002."
