Alcatel to develop Litespan NG DLC access solution in Oman

Alcatel announced on Tuesday that it has signed a contract with Omantel, the incumbent operator in the Sultanate of Oman, for the deployment of a Litespan NG DLC (Next Generation Digital Loop Carrier) access solution. Alcatel's solution will be implemented in two phases, in the regions of Al Ghubra and Al Khadra, providing over 45,000 connections.
