At AMX Corp. - a leading manufacturer of room-control and automation systems demand for high-tech customer training has grown alongside revenues. To meet this demand, the Dallas-based company recentLy spent $200,000 to add a cutting-edge classroom to its training facility, AMX University - with impressive results.
"In 1992, we had 50 customers requesting training. By 1997, that number had grown to over 2,500," explains Joe Hardt, AMX's president and CEO. "We realized that we needed to support a tremendous increase in the demand for our training services."
