Archway Systems, Inc., Huntington Beach, Calif., developer and marketer of design software solutions including VersaCAD computer- aided design and drafting (CADD) software, has shipped its latest offering, VersaCAD 2003 for Windows, to all VersaCAD Premium Service subscribers, and it is available for sale now. The exciting new release of industry-pioneering VersaCAD offers increased productivity through new features including VersaCAD Explorer, a new batch translator and others. To encourage trial, Archway Systems is offering a free demonstration tutorial to interested parties.
With less than three clicks, VersaCAD Explorer offers users the choice of thousands of graphic symbols from hundreds of libraries directly to their cursors. This greatly increases user productivity by eliminating the need to search for required, even unique, symbols in separate database programs.
The new batch translator, directly accessible from within VersaCAD 2003's File menu, converts VersaCAD files to or from popular formats such as DXF, DWG and IGES either as single files or in hundreds of file batches. The translator even converts from among varying versions of DWG or DXF, making VersaCAD 2003 for Windows suitable as a viewer or converter program.
