Arlington expansion in works for USMD

ARLINGTON - USMD Hospital at Arlington plans to break ground Jan. 30 on a $5.5 million expansion that will include adding 23,000 square feet to the 190,000-square-foot facility at Interstate 20 and Matlock Road.

The expansion, scheduled for completion in December, will add four operating rooms, bringing the hospital's total to nine.

In-patient rooms will be increased from two to 18, and post-anesthesia care unit rooms will increase from nine to 18.
