Shea Homes' "America's Best Builder" recognition reflects the company's philosophy of caring for its customers. "Being one of America's Best Builders is an honor," said Bill Pisetsky, vice president of sales and marketing, Shea Homes of Southern California. "We consider it our obligation to live up to everything it stands for, and we are proud of our recognition because it confirms that we are fulfilling our responsibility. We are also very proud of the fact that so far this year, one-quarter of our new customers have been referred to us. We take this as a great compliment and a tribute to our customers appreciation for all we do."
Family literacy awareness campaign
The family-owned homebuilder is extending its caring to families across America by spreading the word about the importance of instilling a love of reading in young children. Shea Homes' literacy awareness campaign encourages parents of preschool children to Read With Your Child 15 Minutes a Day. "Shea Homes builds much more than houses. We create homes, neighborhoods, and communities. We are also committed to giving back to the community. Educating the community on the importance and need to Read With Your Child 15 Minutes a Day is vital to their child's future success," concluded Pisetsky.
New Shea communities in the Southland
Shea Homes is also well on its way to being even better with an array of new communities spanning the Southland from Orange County to Oxnard. So far this year, Southern California homebuyers who value the excellence that it takes to earn the "America's Best Builder" honor have been introduced to 15 new Shea Homes communities, and one more is coming soon.
