Thaddeus Arroyo, CEO of AT&T Mexico, will take over as the group's head of international and business operations on 1 January following the retirement of Ralph de la Vega.
Arroyo has been with the AT&T group and its predecessors since 2001, when he was appointed CIO of Cingular Wireless, a mobile operator part-owned by Bell South, which merged with the old AT&T 10 years ago and adopted the name.
