At least someone can pick a president. AT&T last week appointed David Dorman, former CEO of Concert Communications, an AT&T and British Telecommunications multinational telecommunications joint venture, as the company's president. Dorman is a former chief executive officer of Pacific Bell and PointCast, and worked for 14 years at Sprint. Dorman will assume responsibility for the operations of AT&T's core consumer and business services units as well as its network services group, international ventures, and AT&T Labs, according to a company statement. He will also oversee AT&T's interests in Concert, which offers IP data, voice, and wireless services for multinational businesses.
