Jim Forrest, managing director of risk management technology at Bankers Trust, has resigned to join the London office of German bank Westdeutsche Landesbank (WestLB), as managing director and head of group information technology, said an official close to the situation. Forrest will report to Lother Dunkel, chief operations manager. His new responsibilities will comprise all of WestLB's activities within the London branch, the official said. At BT, Forrest reported to Vernon Barback, regional operations manager for Europe. A BT spokesman said Forrest has not yet been replaced. Dunkel was traveling and could not be reached for comment. Forrest and Barback did not return phone calls.
