Although Berkeley College moved just a few miles from 40 West Red Oak Lane in Harrison to 99 Church St. in downtown White Plains, many at the school believe the relocation will enhance the school's enrollment, accessibility and student opportunities.
The college celebrated its relocation with an Open House Cocktail Party on June 7, during which guests toured the new high-tech location and learned about the programs offered by the school.
"We were in a remote area before," said Philip J. Krebs, vice president of academic affairs for Berkeley in Westchester. "We are now very close to the transit center of Westchester. We are within walking distance from both the train station and the bus depot."
