They haven't invented a cure for nosebleeds yet, which Sanford Redmond knows only too well. He's had several in the past few weeks.
"The hell if I can figure it out," exclaims Mr. Redmond, who nonetheless probably will.
The 65-year-old inventor and sometimes philosopher-cum-businessman has spent a career solving life's big and little problems: He has published a treatise on nothing less than the origins of nature, and a machine he invented to produce butter pats has made him a millionaire.
"These ideas just come to me," says Mr. Redmond, a part-time painter and sculptor who also holds 500 patents.
Now, with his latest invention, Mr. Redmond's ideas may come to nearly every restaurant and household in America. Dubbed the DispenSRpak, it promises to do for liquid consumer products what the zipper did for dresses and slacks.
