Boise Cold Storage Co., which stores large quantities of food and also makes ice, has new owners.
Kent Johnson and his son Tim Johnson own TFJ Enterprises Inc., which recently purchased Boise Cold Storage from Tim Viehweg for an undisclosed price.
New owners don't plan to make major changes, but aim to gradually expand the company's service territory beyond the Treasure Valley, Kent Johnson said.
Boise Cold Storage, founded in the early 1900s, operates in two buildings that total about 60,000 square feet combined on South 15th Street. Clients include grocery and dairy companies, and school districts. Twelve people work...
