NATIONALLY SIGNIFICANT PROJECT STATUS WILL SAVE DEVELOPERS TIME AND MONEY
Shed and office developers will be able to bypass local planning authorities under legislation laid before parliament this week.
The move to classify shed and office schemes as "nationally significant infrastructure" means developers can apply direct to the Planning Inspectorate, a move ministers said would guarantee quicker decisions and save thousands of pounds in planning fees.
