Iomega breaks into rewritable storage market with its new ZipCD brand
Iomega Corp. this week will unveil its first optical drives, as part of the storage vendor's push to get its products on more business desktops. Faced with slowing growth of its flagship Zip drives and declining sales of its high-end Jaz hardware, Iomega plans to ship an internal rewritable CD-RW drive under the ZipCD brand in August.
