Abstract

BP is making ECD-1, its ultra low sulfur diesel (ULSD) first introduced in 1999, available at all of its California ARCO and ampm retail outlets where diesel is sold. In addition, BP unveiled its first solar powered ARCO ampm in Southern California.

Last month, BP announced it will delivery low-sulfur premium gasoline to the Denver metropolitan area, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins and Boulder, the latest U.S. cities to join BP's Clean Cities initiative. BP said its new lower sulfur Amoco Ultimate, with less than 30-ppm sulfur, is being introduced six years ahead of EPA requirements and at no added cost to consumers.
