Information Technology (IT) is no longer a "nice to have" facilitator to the business community. It has become one of the major investment areas for Canadian businesses. Last year's edition listed the top 25 companies in this category. We have doubled our coverage of this category, with this article reporting on the top 50 companies.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE BRANHAM 50
The 1994 worldwide revenues of the top 50 Canadian professional services companies was $3.891 billion, an increase of almost 25% over the 1993 figure of $3.121 billion, an increase of almost $770 million. The 1994 worldwide revenues of the top 5 companies accounted for 72% of the total revenues generated by the entire top 50. The top 10 companies accounted for almost 85%.
On average, 80% of the Branham 50 companies' total worldwide revenues were generated from professional services including systems integration and outsourcing.
