>> LAS VEGAS - After touring extensively throughout Europe from late March through mid-June, Bruno Mars' 24K Magic World Tour comes to North America next month with a July 15 show at the year-old T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Leroy Bennett of Seven Design Works collaborated with LD Cory FitzGerald, who has worked with Mars since the 2011 "Hooligans in Wonderland." Also playing a key role is tour lighting director Whitney Hoversten.
The distinctive lighting looks blend classic and modern design influences, working together with visuals crafted by video director Steve Fatone (I-Mag) and playback content from Empirical Studios along with moving stage elements provided by Tait.
A VER lighting crew of six, led by crew chief Soline Velazquez, is tech'ing and rigging all the visual gear on the road. The tour's production manager is Joel Forman.
