A Birmingham-based consulting company concentrates on helping clients through two of life's toughest challenges: getting into the right school and finding the right job.
Formed in 1989 by John Blankenship and Buddy Seay, Blankenship & Seay Consulting Group tries to make those phases less stressful.
Comprised of organizational psychologists and consultants, the nine-person firm focuses on preemployment selection, career transition, leadership training and the newest service offered, college advising.
"Families feel overwhelmed at the college process," says Lisa Graham, a consultant with BSCG. "We help the student understand who he or she is and tie those characteristics to a specific type of school.''
The college advising service was launched in midJanuary to complement BSCG's other offerings. Graham works with students and tries to make their college decisions easier.
