Tucson, Ariz. - What began as a program to interface analog functions directly to the PairGain Technologies Sparow DSP chip turned into an effort at Burr-Brown Corp. to develop a family of analog front ends for high-bit-rate digital subscriber line (HDSL) modems.
The AFE1104, Burr-Brown's first product in xDSL markets, is optimized for PairGain-compatible modems. It will be followed by the AFE1103, for Brooktree/Orckit DSP devices, and the AFE1104, for Metalink devices.
