Canon has long been an innovator in bringing real-world solutions to avid videographers. Often, these innovative solutions have trickled down from the loftier plane of professional video. That is the case of the Canon UCS5, Canon's first consumer UC Series camera to offer the real-world solution of optical image stabilization--a technology passed down from the Canon's "prosumer" L1 and now L2 cameras.
