A new report on commercial real estate in Nampa and Caldwell suggests that the market is active, and maturing.
Retail and office sectors benefited from continued population growth, and the generally over-supplied industrial market of a year ago is much tighter now, according to the 2003-04 Canyon County Commercial Real Estate Report. Gunstream Commercial Real Estate, Nampa, released the report last week.
All indicators suggest that Canyon County Commercial development will continue at a record pace in 2004, company principal Jerry Gunstream said. With consumer confidence rising, organized economic development efforts in Nampa and Caldwell may also begin to experience results attracting new industry and commerce into the county.
Gunstream, who in past years surveyed properties listed for lease or sale, expanded the new report to include occupied buildings, allowing us to determine an accurate vacancy rate for the first time, he said. He surveyed...
