Rita Telco got a job working for a busy Internet start-up so she moved to the West Coast and was living like a princess. She changed her hair, she painted her fingers and toes and her address was a condo with a view of San Francisco that only unlimited money could buy.
I was here for two reasons-the Internet show in San Jose and the E-mail conference in Anaheim, both this week. Rita begged me to stop by for refreshments. I went to the bar and built a pair of highballs. We sat and talked in her overstuffed chairs.
