Entertainment industry in forefront on new technique
It's not often that a new solution offers both enhanced effectiveness and lower cost. But that is what ABC Television's PR team has found to be the case when they replaced traditional paper press kits with CD-ROMs.
Instead of assuming the cost, time and logistics to produce hundreds of printed press kits, ABC is programming high resolution digital images and printable versions of press releases onto a CD-ROM.
The discs contain all of the information of a paper press kits-- photographs, bios and press releases--and are all accessible through an interactive interface.
