Celsian Technologies Inc., Tustin, Calif., a manufacturer of broadband voice and data products, and MetaSwitch have announced that the Celsian Momentum V Series ADSL 4 port Voice Over DSL router has successfully passed interoperability testing with MetaSwitch's VP3000 Broadband Voice Platform.
The combined solution delivers toll-quality Voice over Broadband (VoB) telephone calls and subscriber services such as Caller ID, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding and Three-Way Calling, without requiring a Class 5 Switch. Celsian has consequently become a MetaSwitch Interoperability Partner.
"Increasingly, vendors including ourselves are committing to open standards, such as the ATM Forum Broadband Loop Emulation Service (BLES), to accelerate the deployment of Voice over Broadband. The speed with which we were able to develop our IAD and achieve interoperability with the MetaSwitch VP3000 clearly demonstrates the benefit of this approach," said Carl Jaafar, CEO of Celsian.
