It has been three years since the last CeMAT, a platform for manufactures to present technical innovations, but the show is set to return to Hannover from the 2-6 May 2011.
Sustainability is this year's theme, set against the continuing rise in energy and raw material costs as well as the ongoing climate debate. More than 1,000 exhibitors will be presenting their latest products on a net display area of 80,000 sqm.
Manufacturers will be showing a wide range of technologies including industrial trucks and accessories, complete plant installations, systems and accessories, continuous handling systems, robot logistics, cranes, lifting platforms, access platforms, hoisting gear, logistics management, auto ID systems, software, warehousing systems and equipment, port handling equipment, order-picking and packaging systems, loading equipment, telematics and logistics real estate.
This year the trade show will present "Platformers' Days", staged on the open-air site. It offers visitors exhibits and information on mobile lifting and access equipment including its uses, operation and opportunities for rental.
Cargotec
Load handling equipment experts at Cargotec will display the latest generation o itsf productive, cost-effective and ergonomie cargo handling machines. The company's portfolio of Kalmer forklifts offers a wide range of lifting capacities and special attachment options for the forest, pulp and paper, stone and concrete, steel, distribution, and port and terminal industries. It has extended its portfolio with the launch of the G generation, on display at booth D12, hall 25. Based on the technology of Cargotec's successful F generation, the Kalmar G generation promises customers improvements in fuel efficiency, safety, serviceability and ergonomics while reducing environmental impact.
It will display its popular Kalmar DRF reachstacker and a newer model for smaller terminals...
