A chatbot powered by artificial intelligence that provides free legal advice has been configured to help consumers sue the hacked credit report giant Equifax without a lawyer, according to reports.
The DoNotPay robot lawyer generates documents for US consumers to take to the small claims court.
Depending on the state, consumers can sue Equifax for up to $25,000 (Pounds 19,000), according to BBC News.
The data breach has so far affected 143 million Equifax customers and has sent a shiver through the burgeoning cyber insurance market.
