Abstract

Generally, a transformer model is a neural network (e.g., a type of AI model) that learns context and meaning over time, through various sessions, by tracking relationships in sequential data. According to OpenAI, for Step 1, "human AI trainers provided conversations in which they played both sides-the user and an AI assistant." Rather, ChatGPT is limited in how it has been trained and seeks to generate an output with a selection and arrangement of words and phrases with the highest probability mathematical output, regardless of any true understanding. [...]while it may seem to a human operator that a conversation is being conducted with a fully cognizant AI, it is not the case. [...]Open AI answers the question, "[w]hy does the AI seem so real and lifelike" with the following response: "[t]hese models were trained on vast amounts of data from the internet written by humans, including conversations, so the responses it provides may sound human-like."
