Troubled shipbuilder turns to stock market to allay creditors' fears - 10/03/2016
Once the country's biggest private shipbuilder, Huarong Energy, better known by its former name Rongsheng Heavy Industries Group Holdings, said it will issue shares to 22 bank creditors and 1,000 suppliers. Twelve of the 22 bank creditors, which the company owes 89 percent of its liabilities to, have signed letters of intent agreeing to convert debt into equity.

Reuters - China firms push for multi-billion dollar Iran rail and ship deals - 10/03/2016
Following the lifting of sanctions, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry co., subsidiary of CSIC , has reportedly been in talks with Iran for the construction of container ships and oil tankers, as the Islamic Republic seeks to modernize and grow its fleet. A deal could be worth billions of dollars.

Bloomberg - Bank of Tianjin IPO said to draw China State Shipbuilding, Tewoo - 14/03/2016
Bank of Tianjin Co., a commercial lender based in the northern Chinese port city, plans to sell about $560 million of stock to seven cornerstone investors in its Hong Kong initial public offering, people with knowledge of the matter said. China State Shipbuilding Corp., a maker of warships and bulk carriers, agreed to invest $270 million.
