Significant rise in acid grade fluorspar imports highlight increasing reliance on foreign sources
Acid grade fluorspar (acidspar) imports into China have risen significantly in the past nine years as the country becomes more reliant on foreign sources of fluorspar, analysis from IM Data has shown.
China has taken a tougher stance on fluorspar mining in recent years, introducing more stringent production and processing laws in attempt to crack down on wasteful mining practices.
