STAMFORD -- In the largest rental transaction in two years, Citicorp POS Information Services Inc. has signed an 11-year lease for 136,000 square feet of office space at the Stamford Towers office complex in the city's downtown business district.
Some 350 employees of the Citicorp subsidiary will move to the north tower of the twin-tower complex at 680 and 750 Washington Blvd. in a consolidation of two separate Citicorp POS offices located in Stamford's Soundview and Holly Pond plazas.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The property has been on the market with a rental price in the $25 a square foot range.
"This is the largest lease transaction in Stamford in two years," said John H. Rostenberg, of Rostenberg-Doern Company Inc., exclusive leasing agent for Stamford Towers.
